Welcome to Islamic Services of America (I.S.A.) website! I hope that you will benefit from the information and certification services we offer.

I.S.A. started in 1975 to provide the community with information and guidance on Islamic issues. At that time, we noticed that there were many inquiries about Halal consumable products and the integrity of existing products that were promoted as Halal.

As a community service, I.S.A. began the first Halal Certification body in the USA. From day one, we have been truly committed to maintaining the integrity of both Halal certification and the science behind it.

I.S.A. was the first Halal certifier to be internationally recognized by Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesian bodies – which are the strictest government regulatory agencies in the world. I.S.A. was also the first US certifier to be recognized in Saudi Arabia and the other countries in the Arabian Gulf.

While maintaining Halal integrity is of utmost importance, we at I.S.A. work closely with I.S.A. Halal complaint companies to develop the means to reach as many international Halal consuming markets as possible in an efficient and cost effective manner.
